I’m an artist at heart & I've always been creative, from sewing my own clothes to making my own jewelry. My would dad would joke that you could give me anything & I would find a way to turn it into some form of art. I’m still surprised by how supportive my parents were (and still are) of my creativity. Like that time I brought a bag of sand into my bedroom to create a beach display for my desk. Or when I adopted a tree stump, gave it a bath, dressed it up & kept it in my room until the sap started to seep out onto the floor. Eventually, I picked up a camera in the 7th grade & I would have my friends model for me in front of backdrops I created.
Creativity is where I've always thrived
& I love sharing that passion with others!
My art journey continued as a young adult when I was accepted into the photography program at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa & received my BA studying black & white film photography. I wish I could say that’s when I started my thriving business & the rest is history, but I was still curious about exploring other creative fields & felt a strong pull toward spirituality & the healing arts. As an empath, I resonated with massage therapy & loved being able to use energy & physical touch to help others.
Still, in search of expanding my knowledge in art & life, I moved from Hawai’i to the Bay Area. I felt drawn to the Bay for its innovative ideas, art & diverse culture & I quickly met an inspiring community of creatives. In the Bay I've dedicated my life to building a business where I could combine my creativity with my desire of helping others & my passion for telling visual stories. Photography is my love language & I feel the most joy when I’m able to use my craft to contribute to someone's success & help them tell their story!
